Guy Fieri is cooking up a free tailgate party for Super Bowl LVIII. The spiky-haired Food Network star will preside over a celebration featuring live music and 20 restaurant pop-ups of his design.
Guys’ Flavortown Tailgate will kick off at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 11, behind the High Roller observation wheel at The Linq on the Strip and run until the game starts at 3:30 p.m.
DJ and record producer Diplo and rising country star Dustin Lynch will perform live.
This tailgate really is a dream come true,” Fieri told People magazine. “I’m so passionate about football. I look forward to football season. I wish we could just have it all year round. I’d be the happiest person in the world.”
Fieri operates four restaurants on the Strip and a fifth at Allegiant Stadium, the setting for this year’s big game.
Big Name Sponsors
To help soak up the costs, Fieri has partnered with Shaquille O’Neal’s live event platform, Medium Rare, as well as PepsiCo, which will operate an oversized Pepsi cocktail bar.
Other sponsorship collaborations include Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse Pit, brought to you by Kingsford brand charcoal, as well as the Sunday Slider Cookout, where free sliders will be served on King’s Hawaiian rolls.
Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate debuted at the 2023 Super Bowl in Phoenix, where it attracted 10K fans. About 15K are expected in Las Vegas.
Though the party will be free to fans of all ages, with no Super Bowl tickets required for entry, registration is required. Starting Tuesday, fans can sign up to attend Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate on its official website, where VIP tickets and hospitality packages are also available for purchase.
