“Our partnership with Marriott Bonvoy continues to be a powerful differentiator and is one of the most rewarding loyalty offerings in our industry,” said Adam Greenblatt, Chief Executive Officer, BetMGM.

“By extending this program, we’re providing Albertans the opportunity to be part of a world-class loyalty program with tremendous flexibility on points redemption. It’s another way we deliver unique value that players cannot find anywhere else.”

The regulated competitive iGaming market in Alberta launched July 13, 2026. BetMGM was one of 22 iGaming sites that went live that day. There are now 26 iGaming sites operating in the province.

Alberta Players Benefit

The partnership is available to eligible customers in Ontario as well, where BetMGM has offered regulated sportsbook and iGaming products since the market launched in April 2022.

The rewards program debuted in the U.S. in 2024.

Traditional casino loyalty programs have long offered hotel bonuses and perks. The BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy partnership brings one of the world’s largest travel loyalty programs directly into Canada’s regulated online gaming market.

BetMGM is currently available in 31 markets with mobile and retail offerings.

Game of Thrones Slot

It was a busy week for BetMGM in Alberta. The iGaming operator also announced that the Game of Thrones slot is now live at BetMGM Casino in Alberta, the second Canadian market launch following its debut in Ontario this past April.

The company said in a statement that the title has delivered “record-setting engagement and performance metrics” for the operator. Eilers & Krejcik Gaming ranked Game of Thrones fifth among Canada’s best-performing new online casino game launches.

The slot, powered by Blueprint Gaming, is adapted from the popular HBO series that ran from 2011 to 2019.

Blueprint’s Money Collect mechanic is at the core of the gameplay, which evolves as players progress. Engagement starts with the Night’s Watch Collect feature.

Players then unlock the sigils of Westeros’ most powerful houses – House Stark, House Baratheon, House Lannister and House Targaryen – each introducing distinct modifiers that improve prize collection and gameplay depth.
