On Friday, Chaz Davis of Louisville, Ky,. was arrested on several counts. These include murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, auto theft, obstruction of justice, theft, and criminal mischief, according to Kentucky TV station WLKY.

Suspect Already in Jail

If convicted on the charges, he could face decades in prison. Davis remains incarcerated in Kentucky’s Larue County Detention Center for an unrelated crime, according to the Harrison County Prosecutor’s Office. He awaits extradition to Indiana.

Last week, co-defendant Antwaun Proctor was sentenced to 45 years in prison for the casino murder.

The victim, LilDon Williams, 32, was killed on March 17 in what was described as an execution style homicide after the two men waited for Williams to return his car.

Williams had spent three hours in the Elizabeth, Ind. casino before walking back to his Dodge Charger that was left in the garage.

Williams, upon seeing the two masked suspects, tried to flee. But the two men took out assault rifles and repeatedly shot him, authorities said.

Williams passed away at the crime scene. The death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy.

Davis and Proctor fled from the garage in two separate cars. Police identified Proctor and Davis as suspects in the case after checking casino surveillance cameras, traffic cameras, and cell phone records.

Both men confessed to the homicide, police revealed, according to Kentucky TV station WHAS. The victim was “targeted, hunted down, and executed” by the suspects, Harrison County Sheriff Nick Smith said.

Proctor, 20, will have to serve at least 85% of the 45-year sentence, according to Indiana TV station WAVE.

The incident began when Proctor and Davis followed Williams from a Louisville, Ky. concert 14 miles to Caesar’s Southern Indiana Casino.

Williams parked his vehicle in the casino garage before entering the gaming property with friends and relatives, and later returned to the garage.

Following their investigation, police booked Proctor on murder, robbery, criminal mischief, auto theft, and obstruction of justice charges on April 24. Most of the charges were dropped under a plea deal.

It hasn’t been revealed why the two men targeted Williams.

Victim’s Family Begins To Grieve

The fact that the two suspects were caught is welcome news to Williams’ wife, Rannisha.

It doesn’t bring complete closure to the family,” she said in a statement quoted by Kentucky TV station WDRB. “This is something we will never get over, but we are happy both of suspects are caught. We can start to grieve properly.”
