The victim went inside the suspect’s vehicle on November 25. But then the suspect, Kevin Alando Martin, wouldn’t let her leave after she sat in the car, according to Oklahoma TV station KFOR.

Wanted For Sex Trafficking

Then, he allegedly ordered the woman to work for him as a prostitute. He also stole her purse and removed a knife from inside the bag, according to the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office. He then put the knife under his car seat.

Next, he drove her to a location in Oklahoma City and allegedly forced her to perform a sex act.

Also, he ordered her to go to her residence to gather her cash and hand it over to him, prosecutors said.

Friend Alerted Cops

Once inside the residence, the victim alerted someone that she was being forced to do things against her will. The friend alerted local police.

Officers went to NW 22nd Street and North May Avenue in Oklahoma City where they located the victim. She pointed to a nearby car where Martin was sitting.

Martin was apprehended and booked on charges, including kidnapping, human trafficking, and forcible sodomy, according to Oklahoma TV station KOKH.

In response to the incident, a casino spokeswoman released to a statement to KFOR.

“The safety and security of our patrons and employees is the top priority at Newcastle Casino,” the statement said. “Our casino employees and security officers are trained to respond to any report from an individual who believes they are in an uncomfortable situation. We take every report seriously and address it with the appropriate response in a timely manner, whether that is offering an escort to a person’s vehicle or notifying law enforcement.”

In addition, spokeswoman Kym Koch Thompson said they are aware of November 25 incident.

We have and will continue to cooperate with local law enforcement agencies in their investigation,” Thompson added.

The casino is about 24 miles from the site where Martin was arrested.

Also, Martin had a prior felony arrest for domestic abuse by strangulation and a prior pending case for human trafficking in Oklahoma County during April in an apparently unrelated case, authorities said. The victim in that incident was a teenager, KOKH reported.
