Hacksaw Group (STO: HACK) has launched a B2B prediction markets platform, as the company looks to expand beyond its traditional iGaming business as revenue growth slows.

The Swedish supplier announced the launch on October 15, which will give Hacksaw partners the opportunity to integrate prediction markets into their existing product offering.
The announcement came days after the company acknowledged in a trading update that growth was “more moderate than during our recent history.”
By moving into the high-growth prediction market space, Hacksaw CEO Ana Vrabic Verdir said the company was targeting a “compelling new opportunity.”
Ahead of the launch, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) approved an extension of Hacksaw’s existing B2B Critical Gaming Supply License. The authorization now covers Type 3 Gaming Services, allowing Hacksaw to provide peer-to-peer prediction market services under Malta’s regulatory framework.
“Prediction markets represent a compelling new opportunity at the intersection of technology, entertainment and market participation,” said Verdir in the launch announcement.
“We believe our existing platform, distribution capabilities and operator relationships position us exceptionally well to help businesses participate in this category.”
Hacksaw Targets Growing Prediction Markets Sector
Hacksaw’s expansion comes amid growing interest in prediction markets.
The company cited research from Bernstein estimating that annual prediction market trading volumes could reach approximately $1 trillion by 2030.
Hacksaw said it developed the platform using its existing technology and development resources, without expanding its current cost base.
Marcus Cordes, Operational CEO of Hacksaw Gaming, said the company’s existing operator relationships could provide an advantage.
“Because we already work closely with operators across multiple jurisdictions, we believe we can provide a streamlined path to market while leveraging the technology, integrations and commercial infrastructure that we have spent years developing,” Cordes said.
The launch also broadens Hacksaw’s product portfolio beyond online slots, scratch cards, and crash games.
Q3 Revenue Growth Slows
The prediction markets announcement followed a preliminary trading update on October 12 in which Hacksaw acknowledged that its revenue growth had slowed.
The company expects Q3 revenue of €57.5 million ($67 million) to €58.5 million ($68 million), representing growth of approximately 11–12%.
That marks a sharp slowdown from the 31% growth recorded in Q2 2026 and the 44% increase reported for the full year 2025.
Hacksaw attributed the slowdown to softer market conditions and weaker game performance.
“Growth in the third quarter of 2026 was more moderate than during our recent history,” Verdir said.
“At the same time, we continue to expand our customer base through new signings and focus on extending our reach into additional markets with our existing customers.”
Hacksaw maintained its long-term financial targets despite the slowdown. The company will publish its full Q3 interim report on November 3.
