Jackpot: Allen Kessler Wins $1.2M on California Casino Slot Machine

A well-known poker player won more than $1.2M on Monday night after playing slot machines for about 12 hours at California’s Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler was the lucky jackpot winner during a 12-hour slots session during which he was betting $125 per hand.
I can’t believe that,” he was heard to say on a video after winning the money. “Oh my God… Did that really happen… I’ve been sitting here 12 hours.”
The amount won on the machine was just under $1,210,108.
Kessler later posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Nothing is bothering me today.”
“Omg this just f***n’ happened!,” he added in another post announcing the win.
Kessler won the jackpot while playing a Buffalo Power Pay slot machine manufactured by Aristocrat Gaming.
The Las Vegas resident was described in a casino statement as a “loyal patron” of Thunder Valley for over 10 years. He takes part in poker tournaments and often plays slot machines at the Lincoln, Calif. gaming property.
“I have been very lucky at Thunder Valley over the years, and I love coming here,” Kessler said in a statement.
Kessler is also known for his poker success. He’s taken part in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and has won four WSOP Circuit rings along with approximately $2.3M, according to the BroBible website. At the recent 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas, he won about $30K.
Kessler’s career earnings are more than $3.87M, according to Wikipedia.
Palms Casino Player Collects $2.1M
A mystery visitor to Las Vegas’s Palms Casino Resort won more than $2.1M on Friday. The person had bet $3 on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine manufactured by International Game Technology.
The win took place when the player from Texas had less than a dollar left on the slot.
Other details on the win weren’t revealed by the casino.
Seminole Hard Rock Player Wins $1.3M
An unnamed player won $1.3M last week at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. The lucky person had bet $25 on a Golden Century Dragon Link game made by Aristocrat Gaming.
The exact amount of the jackpot was $1,300,847.68.
Pai Gow $2.2M Jackpot at The Venetian
A visitor to The Venetian Las Vegas took home a record-setting Pai Gow win on July 21.
The payout was $2,211,469 after the player was dealt a seven-card straight flush.
A $5 side bet led to the progressive jackpot.
Treasure Island Slot Win
An unnamed visitor to Treasure Island Las Vegas casino won $122,720 on July 16. The player had bet $3 on a slot machine.
The casino didn’t identify the winner, but said the person resides in Texas. The player won the money on a Monte Carlo Spin and Win slot machine.
