An Ohio resident visiting the Las Vegas Strip collected $362K at the Linq Hotel + Experience on his 21st birthday.

Damon Howell of Union City won $362,640 while playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em on May 10 at the resort casino. He had been at the table for about 30 minutes when he hit the jackpot.

Howell said he was “overwhelmed with shock and disbelief” and first thought the payout was “not real,” according to a statement from Ceasars Entertainment, which owns the gaming property.

He plans to purchase a house with the newly-found money.

Relatives and friends were with him when the win took place. They all celebrated both the win and the milestone birthday.

Connecticut Man Wins $1.9M

A man visiting Las Vegas’ Venetian Resort won $1.9M after playing Three Card Poker on May 10.

Joseph Nardello of Connecticut hit a royal flush, then qualified for the megatier millionaire progressive jackpot.

The total payout was $1,904,062.

Nardello didn’t say what he’ll do with the money.

$483K Won at Mohegan Sun

A guest at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun casino won $483K while playing blackjack on May 13.

Identified as “Maged K.” of Franklin Square, NY, he won the tribal gaming property’s “Super 4 Progressive Jackpot.”

The gaming area is located at the Casino of the Earth at Mohegan Sun.

The total payout was $483,622.40.

MGM National Harbor Pays $1.2M Jackpot

A Virginia man won more than $1.2M on May 5 at Maryland’s MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino.

He was playing Ultimate Texas Hold’em and won with a royal flush of diamonds.

Alex Alvarado, vice president of casino operations at MGM National Harbor, said it was a huge win for the Virginia resident.

“We’re thrilled that a local struck a big payday on one of our many table games that feature progressive jackpots,” he added.

Michigan Slot Pays Out More Than $536K

An Illinois resident won more than $536K while playing a slot machine at a Michigan gaming property last month.

The mystery player collected $536,614.25 on a progressive jackpot on April 28 at Four Winds Casino New Buffalo.

He was playing a Dollar Storm Wild Ninja slot machine and had made a $5 bet.

The winner resides in Schaumburg, Ill.

On April 30, a Mishawaka, Ind. visitor won $177,894.30. The unnamed guest was playing a Double Blessings slot at Indiana’s Four Winds Casino South Bend. He made an 88-cent bet.

Also at Four Winds South Bend, a mystery visitor from Valparaiso, Ind., won $104,500 on May 2.

The guest was playing a Mystical Mermaids slot machine. He made a $100 bet.
