Seminole Classic Casino Hollywood is among the Seminole properties in Florida which paid out jackpots to many lucky players last month.

On January 29, an unnamed Seminole Classic Casino visitor won $213,296.75 playing a Diamond Lotto slot machine game. The mystery visitor wagered $100.

Also, on January 24, a guest at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa took home $1,384,509.78. The money was paid out on a Dragon Link slot game. The bet was for $25.

The lucky player declined to identify himself publicly.

On January 23, another unnamed player won $140,820.76 at the Seminole Classic Casino while playing a Royal Reels slot game. The bet was for $50. On January 18, $133,105.48 was paid out to another mystery player at Seminole Classic Casino. The money was won on a Dragon Link slot game after the bettor wagered $25.

No word on how the lucky winners will spend their recently acquired loot. It’s not known how long each was at the game before hitting the jackpots.

Nationwide Wins

Elsewhere in the US, Live! Casino Pittsburgh paid out $380,065 to Stephen Mcrae of Somerset Township, Pa. on January 26.

Mcrae was playing Ultimate Texas Hold ’em at the Pennsylvania gaming property when he hit a royal flush.

On January 25, James Martin won a record $657,089.35 at Arkansas’ Southland Casino Hotel when he also hit a royal while playing five-card poker.

“I have been waiting for the royal flush jackpot to hit. Little did I know I would be the one to deal it,” Southland Casino dealer Wesley Norvell said in a statement following the win.

In one month’s time, we have celebrated two jackpot wins totaling over $1.2 million,” Kendra Chaffin, director of gaming of Southland Casino Hotel, added in the statement.

On December 23, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, an unnamed player won $536,277.44. The lucky visitor was playing Polar High Roller in the Oklahoma property’s Greatest Hits Lounge. 

BetMGM Pays Out $138.2M

BetMGM paid out $138.2M in progressive jackpots to online casino players during 2023. That’s a 32% year-over-year increase when compared to 2022.

MGM Grand Millions, Bison Fury, and other in-house BetMGM slot games were the source of more than half of the total jackpots.

BetMGM awarded the largest amount of money in Michigan ($53.2 million), New Jersey ($38.8 million), and Pennsylvania ($34.6 million).
