Las Vegas Cops Charge 25 Suspects During Recent Special Enforcement

Some two dozen people were arrested last month in Las Vegas on sex, violence, or other charges during a special enforcement.
It was called Operation Heat Wave. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) ran the initiative between August 14 and September 8.
Las Vegas TV station KTNV reported that the 25 suspects were identified. The allegations include:
Michael Vargas, 33. He was charged with child pornography. He is scheduled to appear in local court on October 3.
Alfredo Cuevas, 59. He was arrested as a fugitive from another state. He was extradited.
Juan Cruz-Perez, 36. He was charged with domestic violence and battery counts.
Nico Perez, 33. He was charged with domestic violence and battery charges. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in local court on October 12. He already pleaded not guilty.
Zachary Bolin, 38. He was charged with elder abuse and was released on bond. He is scheduled to appear in local court on October 19.
Jacob Perkins, 19. He was charged with domestic violence assault, domestic battery and tampering with a vehicle. He was arrested on August 24. The case was dismissed.
Miguel Guerrero, 49. He was arrested as a fugitive from another state and was extradited.
Leonard Robertson, 40. He also was arrested as a fugitive from another state and was extradited.
Carlos Ramos, 41. He was charged with sexual assault on August 27. He was released on bond, must wear an electronic monitoring device, and cannot be in contact with the victim.
Jules Sharpe, 31. He was arrested on domestic battery charges. He is due in local court on October 16.
Ervey Alaniz, 39. He was charged with domestic battery counts and is due in local court on November 6.
Kamal Jenkins, 24. He was charged with domestic battery counts. He was released on bond on August 31 and must wear an electronic monitor and stay away from the victim. He is scheduled to appear in local court on October 11.
Duane Johnson, 30. He was arrested as being a fugitive from another state and was extradited.
Ricky Anderson, 60. He was arrested as a fugitive from another state and was extradited.
Michael Sollenberger, 39. He was charged with domestic battery counts. He was released on bond and must not be in contact with the victim. He pleaded not guilty on September 5 and will appear in local court on October 3.
Cody Bame, 27. He was charged with domestic violence and battery counts. He was released on bond and must stay away from the victim. A trial will start on September 21.
Taiku Boyd, 50. He was charged with failing to register as a sex offender. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in local court on December 26.
Luis Cuellar, 41. He was arrested as a fugitive from another state and was extradited.
Timothy Lebtich, 63. He was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender and trespassing.
Carlos Castellon-Talavera, 53. He was arrested for domestic battery charges. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to appear in local court on Monday.
Caleb Stotts, 20. He was arrested as a fugitive from another state and was extradited.
Lisa White, 55. She was arrested on domestic violence charges on September 7. She will undergo domestic violence counseling. She will complete four classes and is to appear in local court on October 5.
Dante Brown, 33. He was arrested on domestic violence and child abuse charges. He will appear in local court on September 27.
Randy Carter, 28. He was arrested on domestic violence counts. On August 30, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is scheduled to appear in local court on October 2.
Juan Valentin, 64. He is accused of sexually assaulting a child and lewdness. He was released on bond and must stay away from the victim. He will appear in local court on September 25.
