Las Vegas got the Raiders last year. Later this year, it’ll get the first official themed restaurant for the Silver and Black.
The aptly named Raiders Tavern & Grill will feature more than 3,400 square feet of space at the M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson, according to a press release from the team. It’ll include two bars, as well as 45 high-definition television screens, all of which likely will be tuned to Raiders games when play kicks off starting with preseason games in August.
In November 2019, the Penn National Gaming casino was named as the official hotel for the iconic football franchise. The off-Strip casino is about nine miles south of Allegiant Stadium. However, it’s only a mile and a half away from the team’s headquarters in the Vegas suburb.
“The M Resort has been a great environment for the players, coaches, alumni, and staff, so when discussion began to lend our name to a restaurant, it just made sense to look right here,” said Raiders President Marc Badain said in a statement.
Aristocrat, MGM Partnerships
The Raiders’ partnerships in Vegas extend beyond the M. Last year, the team announced pacts with MGM Resorts and Aristocrat Technologies.
The MGM deal, announced in January 2020, made the company the Official Gaming Partner for the team. The arrangement included giving the resort and gaming company signage at high-profile locations throughout Allegiant Stadium. MGM also received naming rights to the VIP club at the stadium.
Similarly, the agreement with Aristocrat also gives the gaming technology company signage in high-profile areas. There’s also an exclusive Aristocrat Club at the stadium featuring premium seating and a bar.
Aristocrat also serves as the sponsor for the Raiders 50-50 drawing.
Raiders NFL Longshots in 2021
In their short time in Sin City, the Raiders have quickly captured the community. That didn’t necessarily translate to success on the playing field, although the team did post a respectable 8-8 record in its first season in town.
Interestingly, the Raiders went 2-6 in their new home. They were forced to play without fans the entire year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
While the 2021 NFL offseason is just underway and the potential to upgrade rosters exists, oddsmakers aren’t convinced the Raiders will be successful this upcoming season.
A look at some of the top sportsbooks shows the Raiders getting odds of up to 60-1 to win the Super Bowl. Those odds can be found at DraftKings.
PointsBet offers the Raiders at 55-1, while BetMGM, FanDuel, and William Hill give Las Vegas 50-1 odds. William Hill runs the sportsbook at the M Casino.
