Recent EDC headliner David Guetta, a staple at Wynn Las VegasXS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club for more than 10 years, has taken his business across the street to Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

The Grammy-winning French DJ will perform a two-year residency at LIV Nightclub and LIV Beach, the venues founded by David Grutman and his Groot Hospitality, beginning in 2025.

“David is a once-in-a-generation talent who embodies the charisma and class that defines the Fontainebleau brand,” Fontainebleau CEO and chair Jeffrey Soffer said in a press release.

As part of the deal, Guetta will also make occasional appearances at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

This surprise and entirely unexplained move has no doubt incensed Wynn, which is actually in the process of suing the Strip’s newest resort for poaching its talent. And the Fontainebleau is rubbing salt in the wound since company CEOs never get quoted in press releases about music bookings.

No announcements as of yet on dates, ticket info, or new lawsuits.

You won’t catch casino companies fighting over Lil Wayne, since the Grammy-winning rap star only enters more open relationships.

Wayne has announced concurrent residencies with Zouk Nightclub at Resorts World and Drai’s Beach and Nightclub in June and July.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Lil Wayne to Zouk Las Vegas,” Zouk VP Joe Lopez is quoted as saying in a press release.

“We could not align with a more dynamic artist to welcome this debut residency partnership,” Drai’s Management Group prez Dustin Drai states in the same press release.

Lil Wayne’s Drai’s shows start on June 29, his Zouk shows on July 12.

Tickets and table reservations are currently available at Zouk Las Vegas and Drai’s Nightclub.
