EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson will perform a holiday show at Fontainebleau’s BleauLive Theater on Dec. 21-22. “The Gift of Love” — only scheduled for one other date, in the singer’s hometown of Chicago — will draw from her holiday album of the same name, due on Oct. 18.

The Eagles will follow U2 and the Grateful Dead to erect the third band-themed “experience” at the Venetian. “Third Encore” will open in the same second-floor space in the casino on the Eagles’ opening night, Sept. 20.

According to a press release, it will provide “an exclusive fan experience” that “will allow Eagles fans to browse unique items and get up close with rare merchandise and memorabilia.”

In other words, a merch store.

The main attraction of the Eagles’ merch store will be a small-scale recreation of the Troubadour, the LA music club where Don Henley and Glenn Fry first met (and first probably fought) in 1970. Third Encore will also screen a behind-the-scenes video compilation called “Eagles at Home.”

Styx & Lionel Encoring at Wynn

Styx will perform a five-night engagement at the Venetian Theatre as part of their upcoming tour in January and February, just as they did last January and February. However, there will be a first for the classic rockers this time — performing their 1977 album, “The Grand Illusion,” in its entirety.

The dates are Jan. 24, 25, 29 and 31, and Feb. 1. Tickets, starting at $45, plus fees and taxes, will go on sale to the general public Friday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com or VenetianLasVegas.com.

Also returning to the Venetian is pop icon Lionel Richie, who has performed 48 shows at the Encore Theater since opening his “King of Hearts” residency there in 2019.

His six new dates are Jan. 15 and 18-19, and April 9, 11, and 12. Tickets, starting at $109, go on sale Friday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com.

Health Scare for Dave Mason

“Under the advice of doctors, Dave Mason’s fall tour has been changed to start in Santa Barbara and continue, on schedule, to Lake Tahoe,” an post on his Instagram page read.

The casino resort will contact ticket buyers about refunds.
