About Me

"BY THE GRACE OF GOD I AM WHAT I AM" Retired, Worked a few different jobs in my life. The worst for me was 3rd shift factory work. I was to put the Groove in Wood Bit Drill bits at Irwin. All night one by one take a bit, pull a handle and make sure it put the groove on the bit, turn the bit over, pull handle and make sure the groove is correct. Throw it in a 55 gallon barrel and grab the next bit and repeat. I lasted 3 weeks and said enough. After that all my work was construction work, Carpenter and worked my way up to Journeyman/Master Carpenter/Foreman/Supervisor. Except for the best job,the one i liked the most was 3 years in Underground COAL MINING. Worked in Low Coal, Highest around 47 inches, Lowest 28 inches. We had to pull out at 27 inches because our equipment was to tall to go in that low of a ceiling... I worked the Mines until 1980 or 1981 when the bottom fell out of the coal industry. It stayed that way for years and it was time to move on. Ended up back as a Carpenter. Worked that for years. Then converted to Metal Stud Framing, basiclly the same as Carpentry. Got into Drywall hanging and Finishing while working as Metal Stud Framer, they went hand in hand with each other. I was a Supervisor when retirement time came rolling around. I now have so many hobbies i cant name them all. But it keeps me busy. Some hobbies, Building Furniture, shelves, tables. Silver jewelry making from scratch. Just take raw Silver design, build, set stones, Silver Soldering. Collect Gemstones, Knives, also make knives from scratch, Even practicing LOCK PICKING just because its a massive challenge. Those are some of my hobbies that keep me stimulated and busy.. Been playing poker from the age of 14. Im no pro but i love the game and competition, I try to keep a high standard of sportsmanship and Gentlemen Poker. I Try.
