I'm a bit of a noob at poker, I've been playing for about 2 years, but I come from a German family where card games and board games were what we do every night after dinner. I have always preferred games that require a bit of skill and strategy to win, and I like to think I have a knack for understanding my opponents. I love poker because it's more about people than it is about cards, the cards reveal the people in a way.

When I'm not playing poker, I am living a full life. Find a job you love... Yeah, I did. I found 2 actually, but only one pays me money, the other takes my money. The one that pays is surgical technology... I help perform surgeries all day long. I love helping people, I like anatomy, I hate paperwork, and I like working with my hands.

My other job is Coordinator for Women's Team USA Underwater Rugby. I've been playing the sport for 10 years, and it's the most fun that can be had underwater. I put together and helped raise the funds to bring our first complete team to the World Championships in 2015 in Colombia, and am currently conducting selections for our 2019 delegation to Graz, Austria. It's so beautiful to see how the sport has grown, and I think we have a real shot at the gold in 2019!
