Given that I am merely an average player, I hereby advise a word of counsel:

Judge not a player’s skill by the weight of their purse, nor by the rank beside their name. In my journeys, I have witnessed those of humble rank wield keener ability than many who sit atop lofty standings.

As for my own placement within the top thousand, it is not a testament to great mastery, it is largely attributable to missteps of others — which indeed includes a few of the so-called ¨elite¨ — rather than any exceptional skill of my own.

Thus, play with heart, not with pride. Seek joy, not vanity. RB
