I started working in Las Vegas in 1974 as a poker dealer under Johnny Moss at the Aladdin Poker Room. I stayed in the industry for 35 really great years, working in both Blackjack and Poker, the first 10 years as a dealer in Vegas, the last 25 years in management. I helped open up or expand a lot of new casinos who needed experienced help: Palace Station (Las Vegas NV), Las Vegas Hilton (Las Vegas, NV) Spotlight 29 Casino Poker and Blackjack (Palm Springs, CA), Card Player Cruises, (Las Vegas, NV), Chumash Casino Poker and Blackjack (Outside of Santa Barbara, CA), Classic Poker Cruises (Las Vegas, NV), Gila River Poker Room, but just as a poker dealer because the tribe does not pay their management positions enough money, $175 a day on the floor while the dealers are taking home over $200 a day (Phoenix, AZ) , Fort McDowell Poker and Blackjack, (Phoenix, AZ). Now? Retired and playing Poker online.
