As 70/80% of the Hole Cards dealt will lose , it makes sense to avoid playing them. The Difficult part is deciding whether to pursue a hand and to accurately value it. Then you have to decide to Bluff, call, raise or fold as the game progresses. In my view the Hard part of Texas Holdem is the Betting side of it , and knowing what your opponent might do.
