Poker is fun online but fake money allows people to bet without consequences thereby skewing the game.
Bingo is also a fun game, but this isn't it.
People who play Bingo at an Omaha table are like those who play Hop Scotch during a tennis match. There's a place for Hop Scotch but it's not on the tennis court. You're just in the way of the others.
May I suggest reading a poker book or taking an online tutorial to develop your skills, then come back and play with aplomb.
Why is a pre-flop raise the worst play in Omaha hi/lo?
Many reasons. Regardless of your starting hand, the high and the low aren't set until the river is dealt. Betting early "on the come" is folly since any randomly dealt 9 cards will provide formidable hands for everyone at the table. Try this at home: deal 9 random cards and form the high and the low. Do it about 10 times and you'll see winning boats, flushes and lows every time. Furthermore, if you find yourself "heads up" at a table, any successive bets will divert 5% to the rake from both players in a split pot. i.e. If you bet $2000 and get called, split the pot, then the last bet of $2000 returns $1900 to each player. You each lose $100 for betting $2000.
