History

The Casino at the Empire was unveiled to the general public in the late spring of 2007. The space used to be a ballroom and a theater, but it was converted to The Casino at the Empire. It is part of London Clubs International, which is owned by Caesars Entertainment.

Lodging

The Casino at the Empire does not offer any lodging, but there are some hotels in the area.

Gambling

Not only does this London casino have 127 slot machines and 50 table games in its two-story casino with 55,000 square feet of space, but it also boasts a poker room where you can enjoy drinks from its in-room bar and play in tournaments on a daily basis. This casino has also hosted the finals of the first World Series of Poker in Europe. Some of the games include:

Three card poker, classic slots, electronic roulette machines, American roulette, blackjack, punto banco, and pai gow tiles.

There are 20 slots on the second floor, and another 20 slots in the poker room. You can also enjoy 90 electronic roulette machines, 28 of which are linked to a progressive jackpot.

The poker room hosts 24/7 Texas Hold’em and Omaha tournaments, which usually begin at 2:00 in the afternoon every day.

Attractions & Entertainment

In addition to the restaurants and bars in the building, there are also events such as the Soho Comedy Club, which is held at the Shadow Bar. A new comedy line-up is offered every Saturday night, and the shows hosted here have won numerous awards. Time Out has name Soho Comedy Club one of the top 10 comedy clubs in London.

You can enjoy a great dining experience at FuLuShou restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Asian cuisine with “theatrical” chefs preparing your food in front of you. If you are down for drinking and/or dancing, you have four different swanky bars to choose from: Carlsberg Sports Bar, Icon Balcony Bar, The Shadow Bar, and Vapor.

Why The Casino at the Empire Gets 3 Stars

This casino is often dubbed the busiest casino in London, which is hardly surprising because, aside from the fact that the casino is in a busy location, they offer a great range of games (compared to other casinos in the UK), as well as poker events and tournaments. However, they do not offer any lodging or many attractions and entertainment.
