Our recent story about Caesars Entertainment holding a bake sale to lower some of its $23.5 billion in debt apparently wasn’t as crazy as it sounded.

The casino company, which owns and operates a number of Las Vegas resorts, is holding an auction to sell of some of its old junk. The auction runs through Oct. 14, 2013.

The physical auction is happening at Rio Las Vegas, but the auction is happening virtually, too. To check it out, visit the Munari Auctions site.

It only takes a minute to sign up to be a bidder, and you can grab a little piece of Las Vegas history.

The auction features an eclectic array of items from all the Caesars Entertainment hotels in Las Vegas, ranging from furniture and fixtures to glassware, artwork and even vehicles (including a 2007 Mercedes).

Also up for grabs are deep fryers, slot machine signs, an eyewash station, a broken Cleopatra’s Barge sign (sad face), reclining Roman female statues (pictured above) and even a styrofoam gold rat.
