Confirmed: Fogo de Chao Meatfest is Coming to Venetian
As we foretold way-the-hell-back-when (August 2024), Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse is coming to the Grand Canal Shoppes at Venetian.
Why is this news again? Because you don’t listen. Who made you like this? You can try and blame social media, but social media is honestly tired of being blamed for everything. Please blame F1, thanks.
Fogo de Chao, which you have definitely been mispronouncing (it’s “fo-go dee shown”), is moving into the former Royal Britannia Gastro Pub space.
This new restaurant will be the second Fogo de Chao in Las Vegas. The other location is in the Hughes Center business park, once voted “Most Boring Place in the World.”
According to a sweet new ChatGPT extension we just installed for Chrome, “Fogo de Chao is known for its Rodizio-style service, where guests can enjoy a variety of meats, including beef, lamb, chicken and pork, carved tableside by gaucho chefs.”
Basically, you use a little coaster—one side green, one side red—to tell the servers when to bring the meat and when to stop. Hint: Only babies stop.
You can see the menu for the existing Las Vegas location on the official Web site.
Expect more of the same at the Grand Canal Shoppes restaurant.
While there’s no opening date set, the construction walls for Fogo de Chao at Venetian are up, so that means it shouldn’t be long now.

We’d share more about Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, but we really just wrote this story to highlight the fact we scooped everyone, so mission accomplished and we’re taking the afternoon off. And by “afternoon,” of course, we mean “week.”
