The Linq Las Vegas Gets Its Own Street

The Linq has officially arrived. How do we know? It has a street named after it.

You can walk the entire length of Linq Lane in the time it’s taken to read this sentence.

Signs recently went up for Linq Lane, taking the place for the former Audrie Street, a small street running behind The Strip’s Stage Door Casino and Battista’s Hole In The Wall restaurant, up to the High Roller observation wheel, part of partially-opened shopping and entertainment district called The Linq.

We first heard about the possibility of a street name change from our friends at VegasChatter.com. Apparently, whatever resistance there was about the name change was handled. When it comes to commerce in Las Vegas, resistance is futile.

Linq Lane won out over alternate names like High Roller Way (named after what will be the world’s tallest Ferris wheel) and Casino Center Drive (yawn).
