Boyd Gaming Rebranding Loyalty Club to Boyd Rewards
Boyd Gaming is rebranding its popular loyalty club to Boyd Rewards.
This new brand will replace the casino company’s existing brand, B Connected.
The new name will be the only change to the loyalty club, so don’t have a freak-out.
Boyd’s casino customers will start getting Boyd Rewards-branded loyalty club cards on March 31, 2022.
Here’s a first look at the new players cards at Boyd casinos.
While Boyd’s casinos in Las Vegas are obviously our favorites, the company has 28 casinos across 10 states.
The loyalty club refresh is intended to be a better fit with Boyd’s national brand.
Boyd casinos in Las Vegas are: Aliante, Orleans, Gold Coast, Sun Coast, Sam’s town, Eastside Cannery (currently closed), Cannery, California, Fremont and Main Street Station.
As mentioned, this is purely a name change of Boyd’s loyalty club. There are no changes to how the program works, how players accrue points or earn tier status and comps.
Loyalty club members will keep all their points and benefits, of course.
Players can still use their B Connected cards if desired, but we suggest upgrading to the new card because then you’ll find our story, 11 Alternate Uses for Your Casino Players Club Card, even more useful and entertaining.
The rebrand of B Connected to Boyd Rewards follows a similar rebrand of Total Rewards to Caesars Rewards by Caesars Entertainment in Feb. 2019. We broke that news, too, thanks for the reminder.
Wynn Resorts rebranded its loyalty club from Red Card to Wynn Rewards in Dec. 2020.
The other big casino company in town, MGM Rewards, did a rebrand from M Life to MGM Rewards, in Feb. 2022. We didn’t break that story, but we can’t hog all the good scoop. Probably.
You can get all the granular details of Boyd’s loyalty club, Boyd Rewards, on the official Boyd site. (The domain name for Boyd Rewards will be updated to BoydRewards.com.)
It was so weird typing that sentence. Was it weird reading it? It’s now Boyd Rewards.
It’s like when they changed McCarran airport to Harry Reid airport, or when they changed Mandalay Bay Events Center to Michelob Ultra Arena, or when they changed Park MGM Theater to Dolby Live.
Things move fast in Las Vegas. That’s why there’s an us.
