Max Brenner to Shutter at The Forum Shops Inside Caesars Palace

Parting is such sweet sorrow. And in the case of Max Brenner at The Forum Shops, that’s literally the case.

The chocolate-driven restaurant and retail store will close up shop March 31, 2014. It opened Aug. 5, 2010, in case you’re keeping score at home.

Max Brenner’s tagline was “Chocolate by the bald man.” Baldness just doesn’t sell chocolate like it used to.

Our favorite item at Max Brenner was easily the chocolate syringe, which was pretty much the quickest way possible to achieve a sugar rush, ever.

We may just have to hoard these before Max Brenner closes.

Why did Max Brenner close? Let’s just say successful businesses don’t close in Las Vegas. The rent’s pretty extreme at the Forum Shops, and many seemingly solid concepts have failed to survive in the competitive Las Vegas marketplace.
