Worst Terrorist Ever Explodes Cybertruck at Trump Hotel in Las Vegas
A truly terrible wannabe terrorist blew up a Tesla Cybertruck at the entrance to the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day.
The small explosion torched the Cybertruck and the driver died in the incident, seven standersby were injured. None of the injuries were serious, so we can make all the jokes we want.
The amateur hour terrorism attempt featured the vehicle being stuffed with fireworks, gas tanks and camping fuel as well as a copy of “Terrorism for Dummies.”
Anyway, it’s a very weird way to kick off 2025, but it’s not like we shouldn’t have seen this WTF coming.
Here’s video of the pew-pew at Trump Hotel.

This is a developing story, with several intriguing twists so far.
Controversial Bond villain Elon Musk confirmed the explosion was unrelated to the Cybertruck or its battery.
Musk Tweeted, “We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself. All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion.”
So, that leaves us with dumbassery.
Authorities say the Cybertruck was a rental (using the Turo app, a peer-to-peer app that let’s people rent from car owners), but as of this writing haven’t named names.
Law enforcement officials also haven’t said if the driver of the vehicle was a man or woman, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know it was a man. Men pretty much do all the stupid shit, let’s face it.
On the bright side, the New Year’s Eve celebration on the Las Vegas Strip went off without any serious incidents.
We’re a little unclear how somebody can just drive a vehicle up to the main entrance of a hotel with Donald Trump’s name on it, but we are a layperson. You would think they’d have 24/7 security like the airport pick-up lanes, with maniacs yelling at anyone who dares to pause at the curb for 30 seconds.
We are relieved nobody was seriously injured, other than the perpetrator of this botched act of terrorism.
You’ll want to check traditional media for all the boring details yet to unfold in this bizarre start to a year sure to be filled with cringes, face palms and jokes about Tesla Cybertrucks because racoons literally mistake them for garbage dumpsters.
Update (1/2/24): The aforementioned nimrod has been identified.
#BREAKING Matthew Livelsberger, 37, of Colorado Springs, CO, has been identified as the driver of the vehicle in the explosion investigation.
