From the huge menu of sports to bet on, modern software and valuable promotions, it’s hard to find any weaknesses. Our Betsafe sportsbook review explains why we like it so much.

Betsafe combines an extremely comprehensive range of betting options with one of the largest menus of sports we’ve come across anywhere. That said, thanks to great software the site is still very beginner friendly.

Singles are always the most popular bets, and Betsafe gives them the most prominence on the site. Each way bets are easy to place too, and you can simply choose the option once you’ve added a bet to your bet slip.

The bet slip appears in the panel on the right-hand side of the screen. It’s a really effective feature. You can add as many bets as you want, which makes it easy to build parlay bets and accumulators. For users who want to bet on more technical things, the Betsafe sportsbook has a full menu of prop bets too. Just click on any match to reveal all the possible bets associated with it. As well as the sportsbook, Betsafe has an active online casino. In fact, if you download the Betsafe sports app you will have automatic access to the casino too. For this reason, some of the bonuses and promotions that Betsafe run are more focused on the casino than the sportsbook. We were impressed with the banking options and fast processing times for withdrawals at Betsafe.

E-wallet services are a popular way to manage your funds with sportsbooks and Betsafe allows users to both deposit and withdraw using Skrill, Neteller and PayPal. You can also use your debit or credit card and there is a prepaid card option. However, the most convenient option for many users is likely to be the bank transfer, which sends the money directly from your bank account to that of Betsafe.

Whichever method you choose, during our tests the funds were deposited and ready to bet with immediately.

Betsafe has a withdrawal policy that encourages users to withdraw their funds using the same method they deposited. It’s pretty common among online sportsbooks and casinos and makes practical sense because the site can automatically verify it’s going to the right account. It also removes the need to find two different methods to manage your funds.

Betsafe says withdrawals will be completed within 24 hours but during our tests we received our money much more quickly.

We also really appreciated how quickly Betsafe settles winning bets. The sportsbook says that the policy is to settle within 15 minutes, but ours were often settled within a minute or two. Of course, there are exceptions to this for more complicated events, but in general you can expect to have your winnings available to bet with or withdraw almost immediately.

Betsafe really lives up to its name. Security is a strong point. The company is registered in Malta, but has received a gaming licence from the gaming commission of every country that it is currently available in.

The terms and conditions you agree to when you sign up explain exactly what you can expect from the company. All of your data is private, and your funds are protected so you never have to worry about your money disappearing.

Overall we are very satisfied with Betsafe’s security and customer support. We didn’t run into a lot of problems using the site but it’s good to know there’s a dedicated team ready to help if you do.

Using Betsafe’s desktop website is just one way to play. On the Betsafe mobile app you can access all the same betting options and tools, but from your phone. You even have the same streaming options in the live betting section. The Betsafe app is really convenient and makes it easy to keep track of every game and every bet, no matter where you are.

During our tests, we had no issues with the software. The layout is similar to the website and it’s nice to have consistency from one to the other. Depositing funds, contacting customer service, building your parlay bets - everything is just as easy to do and looks great on the small screen.

Another bonus with the app is that you get automatic access to the Betsafe casino games too. If you like the idea of using both the sportsbook and the casino together, the app is a great choice.
